Dal 31 maggio al 3 giugno sono in programma in questo angolo di Sardegna ancora autentico e selvaggio una serie di appuntamenti e incontri unici legati alle tradizioni culturali, artistiche ed enogastronomiche, musica e spettacoli, convegni e dibattiti per celebrare l’antica tradizione del tonno, storicamente legata al territorio della Sardegna ed in particolare del Sulcis Iglesiente.

The town has about 10 thousand inhabitants, it has an historic centre and a modern part, the ‘marina’. The Minister of agricultural food and forestry policies is attending the Eu Council of the Ministers of agriculture and fisheries. During the second day of works the Council discussed issues related to fishery, paying particular attention to the reform of the Common fishery policy.
