Un mondo che vive seguendo regole diverse da quelle delle terre emerse, ed equilibri perfetti che hanno bisogno del massimo rispetto da parte di noi esseri della terraferma. Il 22 maggio ogni anno dal 2007 tutti gli stati membri dell’Ue celebrano la Giornata europea del mare.

L’obiettivo è acquisire una migliore comprensione della portata del problema, nonché le ragioni della mortalità delle api. La Commissione ha sottolineato che l’aumento della mortalità delle api è stato osservato in tutto il mondo. Nel 2009 uno studio dell’Efsa ha concluso che i sistemi di sorveglianza nell'Unione europea sono, in generale, deboli e vi è una mancanza di dati comparabili a livello dei territori dell’Ue. Quindi, al fine di migliorare la disponibilità dei dati sulla mortalità delle api, la Commissione ha ritenuto opportuno sostenere gli studi di sorveglianza in alcuni Stati membri.

The European Court of Auditors examined the four main draft regulations presented by the Commission and publishes today its opinion on these texts
(Opinion No 1/2012). The Court recognises the efforts made by the Commission to simplify the provisions of the CAP and to address a number of observations made by the Parliament, the Council and the Court. However, the Court considers that the legislative framework of this policy remains too complex. For example, six distinct layers of rules govern rural development expenditure. With respect to cross compliance, the Court considers that, in spite of the proposed reorganisation, the complexity of this policy continues to make it difficult for paying agencies and beneficiaries to administer.
